Sebastián Infante

The Chilean has been serving as a senior economist at the U.S. Federal Reserve Board, specifically in the Division of Monetary Affairs, since October 2019. Almost all of his career has taken place at the Fed. Before his current role he was as a senior economist (2016-2019) and economist (2013-2016) at the same institution. Infante holds a B.S. in Mathematical Engineering from the University of Chile (2006), and a Ph.D. in Finance from Stanford Graduate School of Business (2013).
