Marcilio D’Amico Pousada has been president since 2013 of RD (formerly RaiaDrogasil), a company that led the consolidation of retail pharmacy in the country and today reflects, with its expansion, the growth of the post-pandemic health market. From 2022 to 2025, the group intends to open an average of 260 stores per year. With a degree in business administration from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (Faap), Pousada has more than 26 years of experience in retailing. He was president of Livraria Saraiva from 2005 to 2013 and founding president of OfficeNet, from 2000 to 2005. He was also director of the wholesaler Sam’s Club, of the Walmart group, and worked at Mappin and C&A.
