He chairs the board of directors of Organización Cultiba, a conglomerate of companies with interests in the bottling business of PepsiCo branded products in Mexico. After a six-year hiatus, in August 2022, he assumed again the general management of the company. Gallardo was a key player in representing the interests of the Mexican private sector in the negotiation of the USMCA, the free trade agreement between Mexico, the United States and Canada. He is also a member of the board of directors of Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico.
