Pedro Franceschi and Henrique Dubugras are founders and co-CEOs of Brex. Founded in 2017, the Silicon Valley corporate card fintech has a valuation of just over US$12 billion. The 27-year-old partners are the youngest billionaires in the country, according to Forbes magazine. They founded fintech Pagar.me in 2013 in Brazil, when they were 18 and 19, respectively. Stone bought Pagar.me in 2016, after which they moved to California. Brex saw a boom in the use of its products following the collapse of regional banks in the U.S., such as Silicon Valley Bank. The company surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue for Empower, its spend management unit, according to Bloomberg News. Overall, the company’s annual revenue is around US$500 million.
