Bloomberg Línea — The Meta-owned (META) social networking app Instagram said it fixed the issue that was causing followers to have accounts suspended and lose followers on Monday.
“Earlier today, a bug caused some people to have difficulty accessing their Instagram accounts. This caused a small number of accounts to notice a temporary change in the amount of people following them,” a spokesperson for Meta said in an emailed statement.
“We resolved the issue as quickly as possible for all impacted and apologize for the inconvenience.”
Last week, WhatsApp, Meta’s messaging app, also experienced technical problems.
