The Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center is one of the popular business hotels in the capital of Peru, where a series of events and business meetings are held every year due to its strategic location in the district of San Isidro, within the financial center of Lima. It belongs to the international company Marriott and is among the tallest buildings in Peru with its 30 floors, four basements and a height of 120 meters. The hotel opened in 2011 and has positioned itself as the fifth most expensive building in South America, with an investment of US$130 million behind its construction.

Amenities: The Westin offers a number of spaces for its guests and visitors, such as three restaurants renowned for their variety of South American and Peruvian cuisine, a Lobby Lounge Bar, a walk-through coffee shop and a speakeasy-style bar called ‘Bar Alphonse’. The hotel also has a gym, an indoor seasonal pool and a spa that is open Monday through Sunday. It offers 24-hour room service, and parking (for a fee), and allows dogs up to 18 kg for a $50 fee.

Business and events tips: This hotel offers 19 business spaces to choose from under its convention center concept, with more than 2,500 meters of business event space. Guests are also offered informal meeting rooms, with a variety of 20 to choose from; and a ‘Hotel Office’ package, which includes daytime use of a Deluxe room from eight to 18 hours, high-speed Wi-Fi, personal in-room coffee service, among other services. For those looking to host events, the hotel has an audiovisual projection service, event banqueting and a virtual meeting planner.

What’s nearby: If you are attending meetings outside the hotel, its strategic location will allow you to reach major areas such as San Isidro -the district where the hotel is located- and Miraflores in a matter of minutes. It is located next to Javier Prado Avenue, which connects the west with the east of the city. Other nearby attractions include the Huaca Pucllana, the National Museum, the Gold Museum and the Larco Museum.
