Wilson Ferreira Jr.

Wilson Ferreira Jr. chaired Vibra Energia from March 2021 to July 2022, before returning to the position of CEO of Eletrobras in September 2022, this time controlled by the private sector. Before taking over Vibra, he led the state-owned energy company for almost five years and adopted a policy of cost-cutting in order to prepare the company for privatization. An electrical engineer with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, he served as a director of Cesp and chaired RGE, CPFL Paulista and CPFL Energia.
