Maria Fuentes

Maria Fuentes is the founder of the digital bank Pride Bank, considered the first financial institution focused on the LGBTQ+ public in the world. The company was born from a perception that Fuentes, as a lesbian woman, had throughout her career: the difficulty for LGBTQ+ collectives and NGOs to raise investments. The institution offers the main financial services, such as a digital account and credit card, and allocates 5% of its gross income to the Pride Institute, which distributes the money to social causes.
