Marcela Vaca

Marcela graduated as lawyer from the Universidad Javeriana, specializing in commercial law, and has a master’s degree in law with an emphasis on energy and the environment from Georgetown University in the US. She became director of Geopark in 2012 and positioned the company as the second-largest private oil producer in Colombia. Vaca has over 25 years of experience in the industry and was ranked by the Oil & Gas Council as one of the most influential women in the mining and energy sector in the world.
