Hector Magnetto

Hector Magnetto, CEO of Grupo Clarín, is the head of the largest media group in the country and owns 83% of its shares together with the Noble Herrera brothers. He is considered to be the main person responsible for the expansion and diversification of the media group during the 1990s. Magnetto is vice president of the Argentine Business Association (AEA). Grupo Clarín is listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and is valued at $26.7 billion.
