Francisco Gomes Neto is president since April 2019 of Embraer, one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world. He has held leadership positions at Mann-Hummel and Knorr Bremse. Under his command, Embraer has not only rebounded from Boeing’s withdrawal to acquire its commercial aviation division in 2020 but has reinvented itself with the development of the promising area of electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicles, known as eVTOLs, through Eve.
