Martínez has led Corporación Actinver’s banking business since the end of 2021, becoming one of the few women to reach the position of CEO in the Mexican financial space. The economist assumed the position six months after joining the bank to develop its digital channels strategy. Previously, she was director general of payment systems and corporate services at the Banco de México, where she was also involved in the drafting of the Fintech Law, and prior to that headed the economic research department of the Mexican central bank.
