In addition to that, and thanks to its leadership, Procaps today has more than 34 patents in different countries, 50 more pending and 4,000 own brands that reach 20 nations. One of its most valuable patents is Unigel, a pharmaceutical form that allows combining tablets, capsules or granules in a single soft gelatin capsule. The company also received FDA certification to manufacture 5 prescription products. As well as certifications from regulatory authorities in the European Community and countries such as Brazil, Australia, Mexico, Peru and the United Arab Emirates.
