The Torrado family controls Alsea, the operator of restaurant and coffee shop brands with a presence in Latin America and Europe. This year, it began operations in Paraguay, its fifth market in South America, through Starbucks. After a pause, the company has resumed unit openings, mainly of its core brands Starbucks and Domino’s Pizza, getting closer and closer to breaking the 5,000-branch mark.
