The Cali-born choreographer is considered one of the most sought-after choreographers on Broadway and his career has continued to rise after he became the first Latino in his discipline to win a Tony Award for Best Choreography for his work in the musical “Ain’t Too Proud”. The dancer grew up in Canada and over 30 years ago arrived in New York as an illegal immigrant.
