With an extensive background in the food and beverage sector, Ramón Mendiola is the CEO of Florida Ice & Company (FIFCO) since 2003, a Latin American company with three business divisions in Central America and the United States: food and beverage, retail, and real estate/hospitality. Mendiola has been involved in FIFCO’s transformation over the past 12 years, finding corporate purpose and emerging as a sustainability leader, beyond the growth of the company’s financial results. In 2007, he was declared ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ in his country.
