Paula Lindenberg is president of Diageo for Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay since 2021. One of the country’s top female leaders, the executive is on the board of Mover, a non-profit association supported by 49 companies that seeks to promote diversity and racial equity in companies. At Diageo, the executive has sought to expand the market of the alcoholic beverage manufacturer, owner of the brands Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Tanqueray, Guinness, among others. In an interview with Época Negócios magazine in 2023, she stated that her challenge is to bring distilled beverages such as whiskey to everyday occasions, such as barbecues. In 2022, she created a campaign called “Bares Sem Assédio” to train 4,000 employees of establishments to identify harassment situations and act to prevent them. Prior to Diageo, she was president of AB Inbev for the United Kingdom and worked at Ambev in Brazil, where she became vice president of marketing. She holds a degree in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
