Miguel Galuccio is the president of Vista Energy. Previously, he held the position of director in the oil company YPF. At the end of 2021, the fifth largest oil producer and operator in Argentina expanded its participation in the Vaca Muerta field. Recently, the firm reported production results in pilot projects in the north of Vaca Muerta which, added to other advances in other areas, will allow it to add 250 wells to its inventory. At the same time, it assured that “successful” preliminary results were obtained in the Águila Mora block, in the north of the Vaca Muerta field, where there are 100 wells ready to drill, with a maximum production projection of up to 2,107 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
