Matías Germán Videla Solá, 50, holds a degree in business administration from the Universidad del Salvador (USAL) in Buenos Aires and an MBA of the IAE Business School from the Universidad Austral de Argentina. He was appointed corporate general manager of Cencosud SA in December 2019. But the Argentine executive began his career in the Paulmann family holding company in 1997 and has served in various positions, including as head of management control, corporate controller, and general manager of supermarkets in Argentina. He was also regional manager of Cencosud Shopping Centers. Videla is one of those responsible for the group’s entry into the Brazilian, Peruvian and Colombian markets.
