Brazilian executive Marcio Gomes de Aguiar has been with the company that this year became the exponent of Artificial Intelligence fever in business and capital markets, Nvidia, for 13 years. As director of enterprise sales for Latin America, he leads the area that has experienced an unprecedented increase in demand from companies of all sizes seeking chips for digital transformation with AI. The region accounts for 8% of the American giant’s global revenue, which this year joined the select group of companies with a market value equal to or greater than $1 trillion. This means that, in the second quarter alone, Aguiar was in charge of a region that generated around $1.1 billion in sales, guiding Nvidia’s strategy of building an ecosystem around its products.
