José Francisco Pérez Mackenna has been Chief Executive Officer of Quiñenco since 1998.
Prior to this position, he led Compañía de Cervecerías Unidas (CCU) for seven years.This 65 year-old businessman also serves as Chairman of the Board of Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores, Empresa Nacional de Energía Enex S.A., Invexans S.A. and Vice-Chairman of Tech Pack S.A.
He was president of the Chilean Association of Pension Fund Administrators (AFP) from 1990 to 1991. He holds a degree in commercial engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
