José Darío Uribe

He is an economist graduated from the Universidad de Antioquia and Los Andes and studied business administrator at the Universidad EAFIT. He also completed a master’s degree and a doctorate in economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was governor of the Colombian central bank for 12 years and since leaving the Issuer he is executive president of the Latin American Reserve Fund, a technical entity that seeks to contribute to the macroeconomic stability of the 9 member countries. Uribe was reelected last May as president of FLAR until 2026. This year he granted Ecuador a US$230 million contingency credit line.
