She is one of the most influential women in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics sectors in Costa Rica. After being general manager of Intel’s plant in her country since 2019, at the close of 2021 the company appointed her as global vice president of Design Engineering, being the only Latina to hold this position in the organization. On account of her management, Intel has been awarded in Costa Rica for several of its gender inclusion initiatives, which in the words of Rojas is due to the way business is done, based on seven values, one of them inclusion, which goes beyond the boundaries of organizational culture. In her RISE strategy, she aims to exceed 40% representation of women in technical roles.
