Italy-born Fabrizio Barderi, 52, became CEO of Enel Chile on March 1, 2022. He joined the Enel Group in 2001 and since then has held various positions in the company, both in Europe and Latin America. Between October 2014 and July 2017 he was head of all energy management activities related to the group’s generation assets in Latin America. In 2017 he was appointed to the board of Enel Generación Chile. He graduated as an electrical engineer from the University of Pisa, and he also holds a master’s degree in economics, energy and environmental management from the Scuola Superiore Enrico Mattei, in Italy.
