Since July 2023, Evelyn Vilchez has been the main representative of the energy giant Chevron for Brazil, Colombia and Suriname, mainly focused on crude oil exploration and production tasks. Vilchez’s departure from Mexico also coincided with the end of her term as president of the energy lobby Mexican Association of Hydrocarbon Companies (Amexhi).
