He has been chairman of the board of Grupo Financiero Banorte since January 2015. Under his mandate, Banorte has consolidated its position as the second largest bank in the Mexican financial system and was recognized by World Finance as the Best Consumer Bank and the Best Corporate Governance Bank in Mexico in 2023. The banker has his sights set on launching his digital bank Bineo and on nearshoring. Hank is also Vice Chairman of Gruma and CEO of Grupo Hermes.
