Andrónico Mariano Luksic Craig is one of the most respected business leaders and philanthropists in Chile. He has been chairman of Quiñenco, parent company of the Luksic Group, since 2013. Under his leadership, the business group has expanded in various sectors. His family owns the largest fortune in the country and one of the largest in Latin America, managing businesses such as mining, financial services and telecommunications, among others.
Andrónico Luksic was re-elected director and vice chairman of the board of Banco de Chile in 2020, a position he has held since 2002.
He is also chairman of the boards of LQ Inversiones Financieras S.A. and Compañía Cervecerías Unidas S.A., vice chairman of Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores S.A. and a member of the board of directors of several companies and institutions, including Antofagasta plc, Antofagasta Minerals, Nexans and Invexans.He has received multiple distinctions and awards for his philanthropic work, as well as for his contribution to Chile’s economic development.
