Alejandro and Marcos Bulgheroni lead Pan American Energy, one of Argentina’s largest oil & gas companies, which owns the Axion chain of gas stations. In 2023, the company entered the lithium business, announcing its plans to explore Andean salt flats later in the year, with a focus on the Hombre Muerto salt flat in Catamarca. The group, which achieved a record daily gas production in Vaca Muerta this year, employs over 20,000 people. On another note, Alejandro Bulgheroni’s winery in Uruguay, Garzón, was ranked in the top 10 of the World’s 50 Best Vineyards.
