He is the president and CEO of the Shell hydrocarbons company in Mexico. An economist graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico Autonómo de México (ITAM), he holds two master’s degrees from the United Kingdom and Australia. He has also worked in the public sector in the office of the President of the Republic, in the Ministry of Energy and the Energy Regulatory Commission. He was recently re-elected as president of the Consejo de Empresas Globales, an organization that brings together 60 international companies located in Mexico.
