Adriana Barbosa is CEO of the PretaHub platform and president of the Feira Preta Institute, an ethnic economic-cultural enterprise and the most important Black culture fair in Latin America. In 18 years, the event generated around R$5.5 million (US$1.12 million) as a result of the sale of products and services. In 2017, Adriana Barbosa was honored as one of the 51 most influential Black women under 40 in the world according to Mipad, a global award recognized by the UN.
