The world famous Argentine soccer player, Lionel Messi, has purchased a luxurious beachfront mansion in the city of Fort Lauderdale, in Broward County, Florida.

The home, which was purchased for $10.8 million, features a wide variety of amenities, including ten bedrooms, two piers, a swimming pool, a gym, a spa and an Italian-designed kitchen. The master suite, measuring approximately 500 square meters, will be occupied by Messi and his partner, Antonela Roccuzzo.

The property is strategically located just 16 minutes from the Inter Miami stadium, the team where Messi currently plays.

It is worth mentioning that Messi owns other properties in the Miami area, including a luxury condominium in Sunny Isles Beach valued at $7.3 million.

The real estate agent in charge of the transaction was Compass Florida’s Simpkin Team, which advised the Messi family on the acquisition. It should be noted that Messi is not the only Inter Miami player to have invested in property in this area, as Sergio Busquets, Spanish midfielder and Messi’s teammate, has also previously acquired a beachfront mansion in the same Broward County.

The soccer couple and their families will now live nearby in their new US homes.

The purchase of this mansion marks another stage in the life of Messi, who recently joined Inter Miami and has had an outstanding impact on the team. Since his arrival, Inter Miami has achieved important milestones, including winning the Leagues Cup and reaching the final of the US Open Cup.

In addition to success on the field, Messi has also participated in property scouting days, being captured by the paparazzi visiting different properties in the Florida area. As the soccer player continues to make his mark in Major League Soccer (MLS), he will now be able to enjoy his new home in the United States with his family.

Mess’s arrival at Inter Miami, after turning down offers from Saudi Arabia, has had a significant impact on US soccer. His signing has led the team to League Cup glory, attracted new sponsors and generated excitement among fans, who fill the stands in a matter of minutes.
