Jorge Salas

Since March 2020, Jorge Salas has been the executive chairman of Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior. An international banker with vast experience and a proven track record in the financial services industry in Latin America and the United States, he holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Public Policy, both from the University of Chicago. He served as president and CEO of Banesco USA for the past five years and, previously, as general manager of Banesco Panama.
