Bloomberg Línea — Apple’s new operating system, known as iOS 17, was one of the innovations that the company presented at its WWDC23 forum, held at Apple Park in California on Monday.
This operating system update will bring with it some changes:
- New features in the iPhone app
- New features in the Messages app
- Audio transcription in iMessage
- All emojis will be stickers
- NameDrop for sharing contacts
- New functions in AirDrop
- Enhanced autocorrect and predictive features
- Enhanced journaling app
- StandBy, new iPhone landscape mode
When will iOS 17 be available?
The trial version will be available from Monday, with the full version released in September 2023.
Which devices will iOS 17 be available on?
The following iPhone devices will be able to use iOS 17:
- iPhone XS
- iPhone XS Max
- iPhone XR
- iPhone 11
- iPhone 11 Pro
- iPhone 11 Pro Max
- iPhone SE (2ª gen.)
- iPhone 12
- iPhone 12 mini
- iPhone 12 Pro
- iPhone 12 Pro Max
- iPhone 13
- iPhone 13 mini
- iPhone 13 Pro
- iPhone 13 Pro Max
- iPhone SE (3ª gen.)
- iPhone 14
- iPhone 14 Plus
- iPhone 14 Pro
- iPhone 14 Pro Max
In other words, all devices prior to iPhone X will be left out of the new iOS.
