Born in New York to a farming family from the Dominican Republic, together with her sister Janett she launched cocoa-exporting company Inaru in late 2021 and which seeks to connect buyers with premium quality, ethical products, while contributing to improving the distribution of cocoa-generated wealth among all those involved in its production and distribution. In 2022, the company secured US$1.5 million in funding. The company also granted organic certification to 300 farmers and obtained exclusive contracts for 500 tons of cocoa.
