Viveka Kaitila is the president of General Electric (GE) in Brazil, the second woman to occupy the role since the company’s entry into the country. Born in Finland, she emigrated to Brazil at age four and studied economics at Brown University during the 1990s. She has worked in Itaú and Bank of America in corporate finances and, in 2017, became the president of GE, where she has worked since 1997.
