Rubens Ometto

Rubens Ometto has built one of the largest business groups in Brazil through Cosan. The holding company’s businesses include Raízen, one of the five largest companies by revenue in Brazil, which is the result of a joint venture with Shell for ethanol and bioenergy; Compass Gás e Energia, Moove, for lubricants, and Rumo, Latin America’s largest independent railroad logistics operator. Ometto is the controlling shareholder of Cosan, which is listed on the stock exchange, as well as of Raízen and Rumo.
