Roy Benchimol

Roy Benchimol is CEO of Janssen in Brazil, a Johnson & Johnson company and one of the pharmaceutical industries that developed a vaccine against the coronavirus. Benchimol has held the position since July 2019 and has led Janssen since the beginning of the pandemic, responsible for delivering millions of doses of the vaccine to the Ministry of Health. Previously, he was Janssen’s general manager for the southern region of South America, a division that includes Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
