Ricardo Amper is part of the Mexican unicorn club with Incode, the artificial intelligence company he founded in 2015 to develop facial recognition technology. In December 2021, Incode completed a Series B financing for $220 million, in which General Atlantic and SoftBank participated, the round that gave it the title. Its technology component is developed in Mexico and with engineering operations in the country, the United States and Serbia. Amper seeks to shape a more equitable society through the use of biometrics. Its solutions are already being used in stadiums in Mexico to verify the identity of attendees and provide them with greater security.
