Paulo Sousa is a zootechnician, the son of cattle farmers, and the current president of Cargill in Brazil, where he began working in 1990 as a trainee. He leads the company’s agricultural commodities operations in Latin America, which is the world’s largest food producer. In Brazil, the company benefited from the record soybean harvest during the last season and from the high grain prices. With this, it registered net revenues above R$100 billion for the first time in history.
