Luz Adriana Ramírez is about to celebrate her first decade in the financial sector, as leader of Visa in Mexico. She was one of the few managers who showed she was a step ahead with cashless technology during the pandemic, as well as seeing the fintech sector as an ally for the payment processor in a country where cash is still king. During the Mexican Banking Convention in March, Ramírez told Bloomberg Línea that SMEs remain a key sector for increasing banking penetration.
