Luiz Barsi Filho is the largest individual investor in Brazil. He also serves as vice-chairman of the board of directors of Unipar, the national petrochemical industry. Unipar is the leading producer of chlorine, soda, and PVC in South America, with offices and industrial plants in Cubatão (SP) and Santo André (SP). Barsi, often compared to the famous American investor Warren Buffet, has a fortune estimated at R$4 billion, according to the Valor Econômico portal.
