Justin Velez-Hagan

With an extensive background in the public and private sector, Justin Vélez-Hagan founded the Puerto Rico National Chamber of Commerce, of which he was its first executive director, and he is currently a member of the board. The executive, who holds a PhD in economic policy from the University of Maryland, has contributed to several of the main discussions on the island’s economy, while making contributions to the formulation of policies in areas such as energy, trade and telecom, among others.
