In 2010, Guillermo assumed the executive presidency of Banco Atlántida. Under his leadership, the bank has boosted its growth, taking it to new markets. In Honduras, the bank’s net assets exceed US$5.4 billion and its loan portfolio has a 22% market share. Among its actions aimed at driving digital transformation and financial inclusion, Banco Atlántida became the first bank in Honduras to offer a service that allows cash withdrawals at ATMs through the use of a QR code and without the need for a debit card.
