One of Esther Aguilera’s concerns is the poor presence of Latinos on the boards of directors of the largest companies in the US. This situation gets worse when considering Latina executives. For this reason, Aguilera promotes the role of women of Hispanic origin in leadership positions through her organization, the Latino Corporate Directors Association (LCDA). She also emphasizes the push of the agenda of Hispanic and Latino entrepreneurs in the US, where according to the Center for Economic Research & Forecasting, the GDP of this group is US$2.7 trillion, similar to that of France and surpassing that of countries such as Italy, South Korea and Brazil.
