She is VP and CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico, the business chamber that brings together 1,450 companies contributing 21% of Mexico’s GDP and 20% of private investment. Lopez Mestre promotes an economic policy that gives certainty to companies to continue competing, operating and investing in Mexico. In the last year, the chamber warned about the negative implications of the electricity sector reform proposed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and which was rejected by Congress.
