Fernando Chico Pardo is chairman of Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (Asur), which manages 16 airports in Mexico, Puerto Rico and Colombia. His company is beginning to recover from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic with quarterly earnings of over US$132 million, an annual increase of 116%, although without reaching the levels recorded before Covid-19. The recovery of the business is due to increased domestic and international tourism, mainly at Cancun airport, one of the most important in Latin America.
