A civil engineer graduate of the Federal University of Minas Gerais and with a master’s degree in management from the Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA), Silvia Penna began her career at Uber in 2016 as operations manager, in Belo Horizonte. Today, she is the company’s director-general of operations in Brazil. Before joining Uber, she was a consultant at Gradus Consultoria e Gestão, and worked in engineering companies such as OR and MRV.
