Victoria Alonso

Victoria Alonso began her career in the visual effects sector and was the producer of special effects in films such as Kingdom of Heaven, by Ridley Scott; Big Fish, by Tim Burton, Shrek, by Andrew Adamson, and Marvel’s Iron Man. She was awarded a VES prize for Excellence in Special Effects for Kingdom of Heaven. After joining Marvel Studios as executive vice president for visual effects and post-production, she was also co-producer of Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger. In 2011 she was executive producer of The Avengers, and since then has held that position on numerous productions by that studio.
