She made history in September 2019 when she became the first woman director of the Mining Chamber of Mexico, Camimex, a business organization that since its founding in 1906 had traditionally been led by men. She was a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico and is a founding member of WIM Women Mexico. During her time in the mining industry, she has promoted gender equity and generated communication strategies and sustainability reports for different companies.
