Electronic engineer Ricardo Villadiego is the founder and CEO of LUMU Technologies, a Miami-based cybersecurity company that earlier this year closed its US$7.5 million Series A funding round, led by SoftBank’s SB Opportunity Fund Group Corp. and Panoramic Ventures. The company, whose cloud-based solution collects and standardizes metadata from across the network, will use these resources as “growth capital” for sales and marketing initiatives, as well as research and development. In 2003, Villadiego founded Easy Solutions, an electronic fraud prevention firm that became part of Cyxtera Technologies in 2017.
